Herbalife Nutrition to Help Sinus Problems


Dairy products such as milk, cheese, and butter should be avoided because they all contain lactose and dairy is a sugar and sugar contains yeast which can be bad for the sinuses and led to sinus problems and infections. Rice milk or soy milk and milk products should be used instead. Soy milk may also thicken mucus though so rice milk is best when you may have a sinus infection. Eating more dark green vegetables full of antioxidants is a good idea as well. Also, eating smaller meals eaten more frequently may also be good and it helps build energy as well. Avoiding sugary foods and other foods that contain yeast such as cakes, biscuits, doughnuts and frosting as well as chocolate may contribute to sinus problems and infections as well, so it is best to limit these foods especially when you have an infection. Replacing these foods with sugar free candy or cake or foods that use rice flour instead of regular flour may help.

It is also good for sinus problems as well as for your overall health to get plenty of water to flush out bacteria and waste. It is also a good idea to get plenty of rest and daily exercise to keep our immune systems strong.

Knowing what foods to avoid and what foods may help our sinuses will help us to feel better and have less headaches, pressure, coughing, congestion and fever. So make sure to eat a balanced diet full of fruits and vegetables as well as plenty of water. This may just help limit your sinus problems and help you to feel better now and in the future.
